Board of Directors

Function

The board is responsible for establishing policies for the Lake Jackson EMS administration. Directors are also responsible for the general oversight of the organization and ultimately make decisions about important issues faced by LJEMS. Our directors appoint and support the Lake Jackson EMS Executive Director/EMS Chief and assist in the development of policies, setting general organizational goals, and otherwise ensuring that the organization is equipped with the tools it needs to be managed well.  

 

Operating as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the board adheres to an agreed-upon set of organization bylaws established to support the long-term success of Lake Jackson EMS.

Lake Jackson EMS Board Meetings are hybrid in nature allowing for both in-person and virtual attendance generally every other month. If you would like to address the LJEMS Board during one of the scheduled meetings, please e-mail chief@ljems.org.
